Player Efren (Pelon) Herrera of South Valley Chivas Academy 2007B has been selected for the National Showcase team with Alianza de Futbol and has been selected by the U.S National scouts. Herrera has previously participated in ongoing training with San Jose Earthquakes Academy competing with top athletes from the northern region and has previously attended and trained with Sacramento Republic Academy and Seattle Sounder teams as well.
