Ex South Valley Chivas player Valeria Rios has signed a professional contract with Mazatlan FC from the Liga Mx Femenil for the 2022-23 season.

Rios played club soccer for the South Valley Chivas 98/99 team coached by Gilbert and Juan Hernandez and was part of the NorCal Premier State team. After leaving Chivas she would go to play college soccer at Highline Community College, Cal State Bakersfield and finally finishing off her college career at Louisiana Tech University.
