The year was 2006 and our first South Valley Chivas team known as Porterville Juventus was invited to the Club America installations in Coapa, Mexico City to play against Club America 1992 Fuerza Basicas. The tour had been set up by long time friend and Club America legendary player, Vinicio Bravo.

During the two week tour, our team would play a total of 10 games playing against fuerza basicas teams from professional clubs Club America, Necaxa, San Luis and Chivas Guadalajara.

Little did we know at the time that in our game against Club America 1994 Fuerza Basica, our team would face off against now Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Mexican National Team player Raul Jimenez.
